15 years ago...

Me, 15 years ago (2004, Pretoria, South Africa).

Do you know how it feels like when you think your turn has finally come, only to be put on hold again?

You thought about everything you sacrificed and fought for that you will finally recover. Only to see someone else take your place and be coronated in your birthday month.

Have you been pursuing a vision? 

A dream? 

Have you ever received God’s assignment? 

An assignment so big that it disrupts your whole life and personal ambitions? It makes you ostracized and misunderstood.

Then you are put on hold again.

Not because you haven’t done enough but especially because you have done everything you knew how to do without compromising your Faith in God and without selling yourself short.

How long has David waited again?

Please remind me 😌.

When He thought the day had finally come, He was only given Judah (Hebron alliances) to reign over. 

He waited again for the whole process to come to a conclusion. It took years.

And what am I going to do?

Me, Nanou? 

I will sit pretty the way it’s portrayed in this picture. 

And I will be awesome this year like I already professed.

A man of God stated this and I concur :

« God puts you in the valley to show you who deserves to rock with you on the mountaintop » (Psalm 23:4).

Although it seems like a valley, I know it’s only a detour.

His ways, His plans, HIs appointed time.

Greatness is no joke. It takes a lot to build it up. It breaks a lot too within and out.

Never make assumptions about those God elevates, gives power and authority to. You don’t know their story. You only see the glory.

I bow down and honor the one who God has honored today. Congratulations ! My turn will come. #Thedreamneverdies #Oneday
